K.P. O’Reilly is an assistant professor of political science and global studies at Carroll University located in Waukesha, Wisconsin (USA). His expertise is in the area of international security, foreign policy analysis, and political psychology. He is currently finishing a book project with Routledge applying political psychology to examine the influence of leader’s perceptions on their decisions about nuclear proliferation. His research has been published in Political Psychology, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Contemporary Security Policy. He holds a PhD in political science from the University of South Carolina and a JD from Emory University School of Law.
At Carroll University, he regularly teaches courses on contemporary global politics, international conflict and security, US foreign policy, international law, and research methods.
