We have vast experience in developing decision-making simulations. Central to our simulations are the development of policies and action plans from organizational, political, and strategic perspectives. Participants experience the complex dynamics of the international arena and are confronted with a wide variety of events tailored to suit the needs of each client. Our simulations provide second – and third – order consequences as participants act and react to each other’s decisions. Through our simulations participants are able to explore solutions to real world problems without the threat of real world backlashes. Our philosophy remains that “experiential learning” is the most effective method for comprehending complex issues. In Confucius’ own words,
“I hear and I forget.
I see and I remember.
I do and I understand.”
This forms the basis of our learning experiences, which are received as refreshing, energizing, and produce innovative solutions. Central to our approach to simulation design is the in-house InterACT software. This web-based application enables the monitoring of communications between participants over one or more locations. As the simulation evolves, InterACT creates a dynamic and realistic atmosphere wherein diplomatic tensions, personal characteristics and professional insights weave together to deliver a valuable training experience. Moreover, InterACT allows the trainers to intercept and analyse all messages; a tool that in turn serves as the basis for the final debriefing, and for further research.
