The Netherlands in the World: scenario planning & strategy design

From the 13th to the 16th of June, 2012, the Pax Ludens Foundation and Clingendael will run the workshop "The Netherlands in the World." This workshop provides participants with a practical experience in policy development based on the analysis of possible future events and their outcomes. The training gives participants an insight into the future of the Netherlands and possible developments they are likely to face in their day-to-day work.

Course participants can expect to:

  • Gain insight into important trends and future developments regarding the Netherlands and their organisation
  • Learn scenario-thinking and planning
  • Apply their analytical skills
  • Develop strategic plans and robust strategies
  • Recognize socio-political developments and their strategic implications
  • Learn how to deal with the complexity of multi-stakeholder environments
